Hearing test by appointment

You hear people talk. You no longer catch every word.

That is often how it starts: the high sounds go first, the consonants blur. In an hour, we measure your hearing and show you the curve.

Our hearing test is not a medical diagnosis. If something is unusual, we refer you to your doctor or an ENT specialist.

Legend: what we commit to

State-qualified specialists

Your hearing aids are chosen, fitted and adjusted by a state-qualified hearing aid specialist, the same person at every visit.

A 100% Santé offer in every quote

With a responsible top-up insurance contract, class I hearing aids with no out-of-pocket cost. We always show them to you, next to the others.

A trial before you decide

You wear the hearing aids at home, at work, at family meals. You decide once you know what they change.

Follow-up included

Adjustments, checks and cleaning for as long as you wear them: the follow-up is part of the fitting.

From the first test to the follow-up

01

A hearing test at the centre

About an hour, by appointment and without commitment: we talk about what bothers you, then test your hearing in a soundproof booth.

02

A medical prescription

Hearing aids are fitted on prescription from an ENT specialist or your doctor. Our test does not replace their examination.

03

A trial in your daily life

We set up the hearing aids and you take them home. We see you again during the trial to adjust them.

04

Follow-up, year after year

Regular check-ups, new settings when your hearing changes, cleaning and small repairs at the centre.

A soundproof booth, and time

The test takes place in a booth that shuts out the street, by appointment, so that nobody is waiting behind the door.

Notes from the file

First hearing aids

"I was the one who kept saying people mumbled. Now I follow the conversation at the table again, even when the grandchildren all talk at once."
Gérard P.

100% Santé

"They showed me the 100% Santé hearing aids first and let me try them at home. No pressure, and the quote was clear."
Nadia B.

Came with her mother

"My mother would not hear of hearing aids. The specialist took the time with her, twice. She wears them every day now."
Sophie L.

Your questions before coming

Do I need a prescription?
For hearing aids, yes: they are fitted on prescription from an ENT specialist or your doctor, and the prescription is needed for any reimbursement. You can come for a hearing test before seeing the doctor.
What is 100% Santé?
A selection of class I hearing aids with no out-of-pocket cost if your top-up insurance contract is responsible, which is the case for most of them. We always include one in your quote, next to the class II options.
Can I try hearing aids before buying them?
Yes. You wear them in your daily life for several weeks, we adjust them along the way, and you decide at the end.
Is the follow-up paid separately?
No. Check-ups and adjustments are part of the fitting and are shown on your quote. Batteries and small accessories are the only things you buy afterwards.
How long does it take to get used to hearing aids?
Every person is different. The first days, everyday sounds can seem loud: that is why we adjust the settings step by step during the trial.
Can a close one come with me?
We recommend it. A close one notices situations you no longer notice, and a familiar voice helps us set the hearing aids.
